Clinical Governance in Primary Care Course Primary
care teams are expected to produce improvements in the quality of
patient care. But evidence-based improvements in quality don't just
happen they are achieved by staff working through a systematic,
scientifically-sound process. Primary
care teams taking on quality improvement projects are likely to
need help in proper design of improvement projects and in the use
of accepted tools and techniques. Primary care teams need to have
access to an individual who is prepared to 'enable' the teams to
achieve significant improvements. An improvement 'enabler' is someone
who is trained to provide clinical teams with the technical expertise
they need. This
five-day course is designed especially for individuals who want
to learn how to enable clinical teams working in primary care settings.
Although this course runs for a week, it can be split into individual
days. We provide the course for regional or local groups on request. Who
the course is for
The
course is intended for individuals designated to work with primary
care teams as facilitators of clinical governance and any others
who have a role in supporting primary care teams to improve the
quality of their services.
What's
included
Each
participant receives a 450-page reference manual and other materials.
